Who We Are: 

Started in June 2005 the Foundation seeks to realize its educational goals through scholarships, grants, school sponsorships, and book distribution to schools. Glass artist and educator Kay Bain Weiner created the  Foundation as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. The Kay Bain Weiner (KBW) Glass Art Educational Foundation strives to stimulate interest and growth in the glass art industry by introducing public schools, colleges, and adult students to the fascinating world of glass art.

What We Do:

Offer scholarships yearly to attend various workshops, glass conferences,or seminar groups held in the US.

Promote and encourage glass craft classes at public schools, colleges and continuing education facilities, senior citizen centers, YMCAs, and summer camps.

KBW Foundation supply books donated by manufacturers and publishers to various public schools and educational facilities.

Promote various projects such as Teach the Teacher and Artist in Residence.
