Herbert E. Weiner of Carlsbad, California, was born with a glasscutter in hand. His family owned and operated a glass company for sixty years. He is an asset to the foundation board because of his business, finance, and management-consulting experience.

Herb recently served as vice chairman on the board of Scripps Hospital in Encinitas, California. "I am passionately committed to the welfare and growth of the glass industry and with your support of the foundation, we can make it happen."
