In May, 2010 an online auction fitting every budget was established on the KBW Foundation’s website.  Thanks to the generosity of our industry's top vendors and some very talented glass artists, we have a variety of items at a wide range of prices and affordability.

In January, 2010, the KBW Foundation sponsored a glass art conference cruise and brought 148 glass enthusiasts together. Workshops, lectures and demonstrations devoted to the various types of glass art, the business of glass, and the beauty of glass made up a large part of the experience. Over $18,000 was raised for the sustenance of foundation.

Because of the success of the first cruise, a second cruise is planned for January 8, 2011. Exciting workshops are scheduled and promotion begins to appear online and through major glass publications and websites. 

The Foundation sponsored a kickoff dinner event during the Glass Craft & Bead Expo 2007 that featured five noted presenters.

Over 250 industry leaders including, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, studios, and glass artists attended.

Since the formation of the foundation, 26 candidates have been presented scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded yearly to make it possible for the recipients to attend various national art glass workshops and conferences.

An authors’ book signing and sale event was held to benefit the KBW Foundation.
